Louisville Cross Country will run our first race of the season on Saturday, March 6. The team will take on Alemany in just the second competition for any Louisville sport since last March!
Led by senior captains Liz Cruz '21 and Sofia Gavura '21, the squad started training for this season in June of 2020. Now entering the ninth month of this epic cross country season, the team has run hundreds of miles together, explored new places, climbed rocks, entered caves, and run up and down mountains. They have met for 6 am practices, trained in 90-degree weather and 30-degree weather.
We commend the dedication of these student-athletes to their school, their sport, and each other.
