ENCINO, Calif. - Louisville High School has reached the semifinals of the CIF-Southern Section Softball Tournament. Last Thursday 5/9/19, the eighth-seeded Louisville Royals (14-9) upset the number two seeded, Grace Brethren 1-0 in the Division 5 quarterfinals.
Amazing defensive plays by senior Clarissa Flores, senior Emily Ward and sophomore Alanna Lemp. Player of the game was sophomore pitcher, Grace Luderer, who pitched the shutout with 13 strikeouts and fired a fifth-inning home-run for the lone run. Next up, the Royals will play away against No. 3 Whittier Christian (23-3) on May 14, 2019 at 3:15pm.
