2022 Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show

The 56th annual Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show was held on March 20th, and we’re still smiling from the day. The theme of the show this year was, "Make Your Mark," which, in addition to echoing the ASB’s theme for the school year, it also reflected the difference our seniors are making and will make in the world.

The day opened on the patio of the Skirball Cultural Center where students greeted our guests as they arrived. Before the luncheon, families could shop some of our favorite boutique vendors and peruse the silent auction tables. The silent auction was special in that parent volunteers from each grade, using donations from their class families, chose and collected incredible items to represent the vision that each class pre-selected (Freshman table: Beach It: From Sun-Up to Sundown, Sophomore table: Backyard Fun, Junior table: Dream Big, Senior table: College Bound).

At noon the doors to the main room were open, revealing tables set with beautiful arrangements of spring flowers and fresh lavender tucked in with packets of wildflower seeds at each seat. Immediately following the delicious lunch of grilled chicken with a salad of vegetables and greens, the fashion show began.

The first of four scenes, Spring on Senior Lawn, began with seven seniors strutting down the catwalk. The second scene, Blue Sharks in Action, featured our Class of 2022, as well as, three very brave Crespi students. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house for the final two scenes with the girls and their fathers, Memories on Mulholland and Bon Voyage, Louis.

It was wonderful to be to be able to get together with our community after two long years. We’re grateful for all who attended and hope to see more of everyone in the days to come.
