Royals Athletics Getting Back to Action

The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has realigned the sports for 2020-21 and the Royals are getting back into action.
All 13 Louisville sports will be back in action later this year after a suspension of sports by the CIF, which has announced an adjusted athletics calendar for the 2020-21 school year. The calendar has shifted from the traditional three-season model to a modified two-season schedule.

Fall Sports (December 18, 2020-March 27, 2021)
  • Cross Country
  • Volleyball
  • Water Polo
Spring Sports (February 27, 2021-June 23, 2021)
  • Basketball
  • Golf
  • Lacrosse
  • Soccer
  • Softball
  • Swimming & Diving
  • Tennis
  • Track & Field
*Dates listed are the earliest and latest scheduled competition dates and are subject to change. Equestrian and Beach Volleyball are not CIF-sanctioned sports and are therefore not included.

The CIF State office also announced a suspension of bylaws 600-605, which usually prohibit student-athletes from participating on a team outside of school. "In a one-year exception for the 2020-2021 school year, students will be permitted to participate on an outside team at the same time they participate on their high school team."

All Louisville sports schedules will be published on our website soon. Follow @LvHSRoyals on Twitter for schedule updates, scores, and news.
