Coach Monica Hernandez

Honing her skills during her collegiate years, Coach Monica spent two years at Central Arizona College, where she laid the foundation for her basketball career. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, she then transferred to California State University, Northridge, where she showcased her talents for another two years, leaving an indelible mark on the court.

Monica began coaching at Louisville during the 2020/2021 season. Under her coaching, the team has soared to achievements including clinching consecutive League Championships in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, she has steered her squad to CIF Championships in both 2021 and 2024.

A little-known fact about Monica is that in her younger days, she indulged her love for speed by competing in race car driving, demonstrating her fearlessness beyond the basketball court.
