Coach Sahiv Lopez

A product of high school athletics himself, Coach Sahiv spent four years immersed in the world of cross country and track & field, followed by his earning a degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine. He has spent the past five years teaching mathematics and coaching at Crespi Carmelite High School.

Three years ago, he joined Louisville as an assistant coach. Now the head coach of the cross country and track & field programs at Louisville, Coach Sahiv is committed to fostering an environment where student-athletes can thrive both on and off the field.
