LvHS Swimming Coach Aaron Robinson

Coach Aaron Robinson

Coach Aaron's journey in swimming began in the San Fernando Valley when he was just 7 years old. He grew up competing for various club teams in the area, including Class Aquatics and CCAT. His dedication and talent soon earned him recognition as an All-American swimmer while representing LA Valley College before transferring to Cal State Bakersfield.

He was a pivotal member of the NCAA Division II championship team at Cal State Bakersfield in 2000. Following his collegiate career, Aaron returned to his roots in the Valley. He began his coaching career with CCAT, initially working with age-group swimmers before co-coaching at the pre-senior and senior levels. When the opportunity arose to take over as head coach at Crespi Carmelite High School alongside Coach Wilson, Aaron seized the chance.

In 2014, Aaron became the Head Coach of Louisville High School's swim team. Since then, he has been instrumental in shaping the program's success through his style of coaching, enabling him to create lasting bonds with his swimmers where they hold each other accountable for practice etiquette, gamesmanship, and their training. Applying the "2 schools, 1 team" concept, Aaron seamlessly blends the swimming programs of both Crespi and Louisville, creating a symbiotic group of well-rounded swimmers.
