It is our goal to make a Louisville education financially possible for every admitted student. Louisville High School offers need-based tuition assistance, academic scholarships, and academic merit-based awards that can be a key component of your investment.

  • How To Apply For Tuition Assistance

    The process of applying for tuition assistance begins by completing the FACTS Grant & Aid application online. Tuition assistance applications for the 2023-24 school year will be available starting September 1, 2022. Families who receive tuition assistance are required to re-apply each year. The application deadline is December 16, 2022, to receive priority in financial aid awards given. Late applications will be considered as they are received. Families will be notified of their tuition assistance package in their Enrollment Contract as part of their admissions decision.

Scholarship Opportunities

All incoming 9th Grade applicants will automatically be considered for the following three scholarships upon submission of their Application for Admission. No separate scholarship application is required:

  • St. Louis of France Scholarship (Class of 2027)

    This is a renewable scholarship awarded to incoming 9th graders based on 6th - 8th grade transcripts, an interview, and recommendations. In addition, students will write an essay on the day of their interview that, along with the above criteria, should demonstrate that she will be a strong contributor to the Louisville community. 

    The recipients of this scholarship MUST maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA with no Ds or Fs and be in good standing during their four years at Louisville in order for the scholarship to be renewable.
  • Presidential Scholarship (Class of 2027)

    This is a renewable scholarship awarded to incoming 9th graders based on 6th - 8th grade transcripts and recommendations. 

    The recipients of this scholarship MUST maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA with no Ds or Fs and be in good standing during their four years at Louisville in order for the scholarship to be renewable.
  • Louisville Legacy Scholarship (Class of 2027)

    This is a renewable scholarship awarded to accepted students whose mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother graduated from Louisville High School. 

    The recipients of this scholarship MUST remain in good standing with no Ds or Fs during their four years at Louisville in order for the scholarship to be renewable.
For the following two scholarships, a separate scholarship application is required and must be submitted no later than noon on Friday, December 16, 2022.

Once an Application for Admission has been completed, you will be given access to an Admissions Checklist where the scholarship applications are located.

  • Performing Arts Scholarship

    This is a non-renewable scholarship awarded to incoming 9th graders who have demonstrated outstanding talent in Drama, Voice, or Dance.

    Auditions will be held for scholarship applicants on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
  • Visual Arts Scholarship

    This is a non-renewable scholarship awarded to incoming 9th graders who have demonstrated outstanding talent in the visual arts. 

    The applicant's portfolio and artist’s statement must be completed and turned in to Louisville no later than January 13, 2023.

Payment Plans

Louisville High School offers three payment plans. These options give families flexibility in meeting their financial obligations to the school.

  • Full Payment Option

    The full payment is due in July prior to the ensuing school year. This option requires participation in the school's enrollment and billing system. As a participant in this option, you may choose to have withdrawals from a checking or savings account. There is no enrollment fee for this option.
  • Monthly Payment Option

    The entire tuition is paid in ten equal installments due July through April. This option requires participation in the school's enrollment and billing system. As a participant in this option, you may choose to have withdrawals from a checking or savings account. A one-time enrollment fee is charged.
  • Semester Payment Option

    The entire tuition is paid in two equal installments due July and December. This option requires participation in the school's enrollment and billing system. As a participant in this option, you may choose to have withdrawals from a checking or savings account. A one-time enrollment fee is charged.
