Welcome, Transferring Students!

We welcome the opportunity to consider admission for those students who wish to transfer high schools.

Louisville High School offers a small and inclusive environment accompanied by challenging academics and a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our Athletics, Performing and Visual Arts, Campus Ministry, Focus Programs, and leadership opportunities help to set our graduates apart as women of confidence, service, accomplishment, and compassion.

Transfer applications are generally considered for 9th through 11th grade students. Those entering the 12th grade are occasionally admitted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Admissions Office for further information if you wish to be considered for transfer into the 12th grade.

Louisville is a school that will support you no matter what. All the teachers, staff, administration, and students are all so loving, caring, and will guide you to be the best version of yourself. I am a transfer student that came to Louisville in 10th grade.

I came in knowing very few people, but ever since the first day of school, I have always felt accepted, supported, and cared about.

Louisville has taught me so much about myself and has encouraged and pushed me to accomplish things that I had never thought possible.

Transfer Application Process

Transfer applications are generally considered for 9th through 11th grade students. Those entering the 12th grade are occasionally admitted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Admissions Office for further information if you wish to be considered for transfer into the 12th grade.

Families interested in transferring to Louisville can Apply for Admission on a rolling basis. After creating a user account (or logging into an existing one), follow these steps to complete the application process:

  1. Once the Application for Admission is completely submitted, including the application fee, you will be given access to an Admissions Checklist that will walk you through each step of the admissions process.

  2. Using the checklist, you can request current transcripts from your daughter's school and recommendations from her current Math and English teachers.

Once all required documentation has been submitted, the Admissions Office will reach out to schedule a mutually convenient time for your family's Admissions Interview. We aim to provide transfer admissions decisions as soon as possible to allow your family time to prepare for transferring into the closest semester or academic year.
