Guiding The Way

Individual academic advising is an integral part of the Louisville experience. Each student is assigned a grade-level advisor who will meet with her at least once per quarter and who will closely monitor her academic progress. Advisors work closely with teachers and parents when students are experiencing academic difficulty.

To supplement individual academic advising, the Guidance Department also provides a variety of services which include community referrals, a series of workshops designed exclusively for freshmen, lunchtime career speakers and The Freedom from Chemical Dependency Program. The advisors are available for conferences or questions. See the contact information on the right.
