BIOLOGY TEACHER:
Louisville is currently seeking a Science Teacher for the 2019 – 2020 academic year, beginning in August. 
The course load will include: Biology, AP Biology, Biology Honors and/or Anatomy/Physiology.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences
  • Credential or Masters in Biological Sciences or equivalent preferred 
  • Previous teaching experience in high school
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

DONOR RELATIONS MANGER
Louisville is currently seeking a full-time Donor Relations Manager who has expertise in identifying, educating and soliciting various constituencies. The Advancement Office is a highly collaborative environment where all team members must be able to work independently but also support each other when necessary. We are seeking a highly competent, efficient individual with strong people skills and a collaborative spirit. All candidates must show initiative and a desire to constantly learn and improve.
 
Essential Job Functions:
Annual Giving
  • Develops and executes a strategic Annual Giving campaign aimed at current parents, alumnae and parents of alumnae. The program will include direct mail, email marketing, social media and other forms of communication and will also include an integrated, impactful and engaging Day of Giving.
  • Manages the production of an annual report. Works with the Advancement Analyst/Coordinator to pull relevant data, writes/gathers additional content as necessary and distributes final product to all constituencies.
  • Plans an end-of-year donor recognition event for our highest level contributors.
Planned Giving
  • Enhances and updates our Planned Giving program. This program will include investment vehicles such as wills, living trusts, retirement programs, life insurance policies and donor-advised funds. The program should also include donor levels, donor acknowledgment and a strategic means of communication.
Alumnae Relations
  • Serves as the main point of contact for our alumnae. Organizes and facilitates an alumnae board and class reps to encourage engagement.
  • Plans and executes an annual alumnae reunion and other alumnae engagement events. Collaborates with our brother school, Crespi, as necessary.
  • Maintains communication with our alumnae through web pages, email marketing and newsletters.
Magazine (Royal View)
  • Coordinates with faculty/staff to write content for our annual magazine, The Royal View. Works with a graphic designer to layout the magazine and distributes final product to all constituencies.
Other Responsibilities
  • Attends weekly Advancement Team meetings
  • Supports other Advancement and Admissions efforts as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Five or more years of professional fundraising experience, preferably in an educational setting, with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other similar database as well as the ability to analyze reporting data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of administration, faculty, staff, parents, and students

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR:
The Counselor will proactively collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to support the educational, personal, and vocational growth of ninth and tenth-grade students. This role will provide students with comprehensive, individualized counseling to ensure academic and emotional progress and completion of graduation requirements. In addition, he/she will work with faculty and parents to address any performance and/or behavioral concerns and facilitate corrective action. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Meet with assigned students at least once, quarterly 
  • Supervise each student’s academic progress and completion of graduation requirements
  • Meet with students who are on academic probation or who have received academic deficiency notices and assist them in improving their performance
  • Work with each student to select courses for the upcoming school year and/or make necessary schedule adjustments
  • Work with the Assistant Principal for Academics on grade-level meetings regarding student progress
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and parents to assist in dealing with a student’s academic, personal or disciplinary problems; make outside professional referrals when necessary 
  • Explore and recommend learning resources that are available to students and their families
  • Assist in the planning and execution of counseling department programs such as Drug Prevention/Sexual Abuse Education/Study Skills Workshops/Career Fairs, etc.
  • Coordinate services for students with learning differences; coordinate extended test timing and attend IEP's and STEP meetings as necessary 
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience working with the academic and social, and emotional needs of high school age students and parents, in a school setting
  • Able to handle sensitive and/or confidential information with parents, teachers, and administrators
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and decision making
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Able to effectively present information to large groups
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience in college admissions or high school college counseling preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Counseling and/or Pupil Personnel Services Credential preferred
  • Experience with high-stakes test coordinating and/or proctoring (AP, SAT, ACT) 
  • Familiarity with Naviance, a comprehensive K-12 college, and career readiness solution, a plus
 
DATABASE ANALYST/ADVANCEMENT COORDINATOR
The Database Analyst/ Advancement Coordinator will provide database management, analysis, and administrative support to Louisville’s Advancement Department. This Department is a highly collaborative environment where all team members must be able to work independently but also support each other when necessary. We are seeking a highly competent, efficient individual with strong people skills and a collaborative spirit. All candidates must show initiative and a desire to constantly learn and improve.
 
Essential Job functions:
 
The Database Analyst/ Advancement Coordinator main responsibility is to maintain our Raiser’s Edge (RE) database and mine the data to help the Advancement Office reach its growth objectives. Specific database responsibilities include:
  • Accurately and consistently input donor, gift and financial information
  • Maintain the integration between the school’s primary database (Core) and RE; and RE and Financial Edge (FE)
  • Add information into RE to make it a more robust database that can be mined for specific needs (includes student activities information, wealth management, constituent codes, relationship data, etc.)
  • Build queries to help identify donor potential, build guest lists, pull giving reports, create our annual financial report, etc.
  • Provide weekly donor reports for President and Director of Advancement
The Database Analyst/ Advancement Coordinator will also be responsible for managing other Advancement event software and perform the following:
  • Input data, oversee auctions and run event software the night/day of event
  • Be present at all major fundraising events (3) and special events (2-3) throughout the year
  • Manage matching pledges and gifts through third-party corporate matching portals
  • Confirm receipt of funds and reconcile monthly bank statements through merchant account portals
  • Build event registration forms, monitor guest response and sales, generate reports and handle simple website updates through school Blackbaud website
The Database Analyst/ Advancement Coordinator will also be responsible for leading or assisting in the following mailings:
  • Generate tax receipts and gift acknowledgments
  • Create recipient lists and assist with preparation of large mailings
  • Lead segmentation, letter generation and mailing process for annual fund appeal
The Database Analyst/ Advancement Coordinator is part of a larger collaborative team and must be able to be a supportive team player. We work very closely with one another and frequently brainstorm, discuss creative approaches and assist each other when necessary. The Advancement Office frequently supports the Admissions Office and all members must be willing and able to help where needed, build team camaraderie and exhibit a cooperative spirit.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science, or related fields, and/or certificate or equivalent work experience
  • At least two (2) years experience with relational databases, preferably Blackbaud RE and Core database.
  • Proficiency in the use of data systems, including familiarity with the processes for data storage, upload, retrieval, back-up and security
  • Knowledge of nonprofit institution operations and IRS requirements in posting and acknowledging gifts
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a manner that complies with government regulations and professional fundraising standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
