“This love will lead them to enrich (others) by sharing with them the lights and gifts they have received from God, and they will consider it a greater happiness to share those gifts than to keep them to themselves.”

Christian Service Requirement
Louisville High School requires that students participate in a Christian Service Program. To promote community in each of our grade levels, students will complete their minimum service requirement through Louisville High School’s Christian Service Program. Though the minimum requirement is satisfied through our school program, students are encouraged to continue volunteer-ing in all the wonderful and various ways that they have in the past and to hand in verification of hours for credit.
Freshmen | Sophomores | Juniors | Seniors
This program encourages the commitment to lifelong service to the Church and the community. Our hope is to train future leaders and inspire future civic volunteers to tackle the problems of poverty locally and worldwide.
Beyond the School sponsored service Program
Students will also be encouraged to continue to volunteer in their parishes, to tutor at the Guadalupe Center in Canoga Park, visit the elderly in local hospitals and convalescent homes, and to serve in a variety of other venues posted on the Service section of the Louisville High School website.
