Louisville Field Hockey Team Reaches Final Four
Woodland Hills, CA (November 8, 2007) - The Field Hockey team (6-4-2) concluded its best season ever with a charge toward both the Sunset League and California Field Hockey Federation Championships. The Royals finished second in the Sunset League, beating Chaminade (2-0), Harvard-Westlake (1-0) and Edison (1-0) in the second round. From there, the Royals advanced to the playoffs. In the quarterfinals the Royals beat Glendora and advanced to the semifinals. The team lost a hard fought battle to Newport Harbor to end their championship bid. The Royals will return 15 players for next season.
