Louisville Tennis Team Flexes Their Collective Muscle

The Louisville Tennis Team continued to show that they are one of the most improved teams in the area with an impressive fourteen to four win to open Mission League play against the Warriors of Alemany.
The Royals dominated the singles side of the match winning all nine sets. The trio of sophomore Hannah Garcia-Park and juniors Rachel Vogt and Andrea Duva were in complete control losing only two games total. In doubles competition the team of senior team captain Rebecca Lazaroff and junior Jessica Wolfe won two of their three sets with the doubles team of sophomore Sophia Duva (sister of Andrea) and freshman Krista Sweet also winning two of their three sets. The final doubles team of sophomore Grace O'Doherty and freshman Carissa Aquilizan won one set.
The Royals are looking to finish in the top three in the mission league this year and make their first playoff appearance in recent memory. The addition of sophomore transfer Hannah Garcia-Park and freshmen Krista Sweet, Carissa Aquilizan and Christine Bradshaw have given great depth to the tennis program this year and will continue to pay dividens for the next few years. Watch for Louisville tennis to make a big jump in the Mission League Standings this year.
Louisville Tennis Defeats La Salle

The Louisville Tennis Team continued their stellar play this season with a 13-5 non-league victory over La Salle.
Sophomore Hannah Garcia-Park, Junior Andrea Duva and freshman Carissa Aquilizan swept their singles sets losing only four games total in the process to get the Royals started six to zero. Junior Rachel Vogt won two of her three sets in singles play to continue the Royals domination. The doubles team of junior Jessica Wolfe and senior team-captain Rebecca Lazaroff swept their three sets in impressive fashion. The Royals mixed around their doubles teams to try some new combinations in order to get ready for league, and the changes paid major dividens for the Royals. The other two doubles teams of sophomore Sophia Duva and freshman Krista Sweet and sophomore Grace O'Doherty and freshman Christine Bradshaw each won at least one set to help the Royals finish off the victory.
The Royals look to remain unbeaten as they take on Marlborough High School this Thursday at the Calabasas Swim and Tennis Center.
Louisville Tennis Starts the Season 2-0

The Louisville Tennis Team is off to a red hot start this year with wins over Viewpoint and Marymount to start the season.
The Royals opened the season with a 12-6 win over Marymount and followed that win up with a 10-8 win over Viewpoint.
In the win over Viewpoint sophomore singles player Hannah Garcia-Park led the way winning all three of her sets to lead the way for the Royals. Junior Andrea Duva won two of her three sets with the doubles team of senior team captain Rebecca Lazaroff and sophomore Sophia Duva also winning two of their three sets.
Louisville's Tennis Team was mentioned as a breakthrough team by the Los Angeles Daily News' Season Preview and the Royals have not disappointed so far this year. Louisville looks to contend for a playoff spot in the tough Mission League.
