The Varsity Softball team started their season strong, first by
defeating Malibu High School in a tri-scrimmage and then Buckley
High School in the season opener by a score of 24-0. The Royals are
led on offense by juniors B. Carpenter (SS/P) and J. Callas
(C), sophomore C. McNulty (1B) and freshman E. Greene
(SS/P).
On the mound, the Royals have received strong performances from
senior R. Kratz (ERA 4.20), B. Carpenter (26 K’s in 20
innings), and E. Greene (only 9 earned runs). Senior S.
Daly (3B), sophomore L. Brose (LF) and freshman J.
Topete (2B) also have had strong seasons so far.
The Softball team is young and talented, as the Royals field 6
freshmen and 2 sophomores. The Softball team opened Mission League play on Tuesday, April 8th vs. Chaminade at Northrop Field starting at 3:00 p.m. Good luck Softball!!
