scholarships can be a key component of your investment in
your future at Louisville.
Louisville High School offers need-based financial aid as
well as academic scholarships and academic merit-based
awards.
Louisville offers nearly 3/4 million dollars in need-based financial aid and merrit-based scholarships annually.
Scholarship Opportunities
Applications for scholarships are available to download below. Applications are due in the school office ALONG WITH APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION no later than Friday, December 9, 2011.
We will accept a maximum of 2 scholarships applications per student.
$2,000.00 renewable scholarships are available in the following diciplines:
• St. Louis of France Merit Scholarship
This $2,000 renewable scholarship will be awarded to students who
have demonstrated a strong interest in an academic discipline or leadership, all-around excellence and an
awareness of the world beyond her own needs. This
scholarship is inspired by these words of St. Louis IX of
France:
“Fair child, the first thing I would teach you is to set
your heart to love God. May God be honored because of you.” Written essay and interview are required for consideration.
• Performing Arts Scholarship
Audition required for consideration.
• Visual Arts Scholarship
Written essay, interview and portfolio required for
consideration.
• Alumnae Scholarship
Applicant must be the daughter or granddaughter of a
Louisville alumna. A written essay and interview are
required for consideration.
Other Scholarships include:
• Faculty Scholarship
Awarded to returning students on recommendation of
the faculty (no application necessary).
•
Principal's Scholarship
Ten to twelve non-renewable $1,000 scholarships,
awarded to incoming freshmen based upon admission
test scores and 7th and 8th grade transcripts.
All scholarships are contingent upon student’s acceptance into
Louisville High School (no application necessary).
How to Apply for Financial Aid

The process of applying for financial aid begins in January
by completing and mailing an application to Private School
Aid Service (PSAS). Financial Aid Applications are available online
and must be mailed for processing by Private
School Aid Service by
December 9, 2011.
Families who receive financial aid are required to re-apply
each year. Late applications will be considered only if funds
are still available.

application from the Admissions Office or download the
application above.
