NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY

Louisville admits students of any race, color, racial or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, racial or ethnic origin, administration of its education policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, athletic and other school administered programs. Louisville High School does not discriminate against otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities, if with reasonable accommodations, they can meet the requirements of our program.

SCHOOL PURPOSE AND ADMISSION CRITERIA

The purpose of Louisville High School is to assure that Catholic truths and Gospel values are fully integrated with the student’s life and academic program.  Students should not apply unless they desire and intend to participate fully in the religious and Christian service program of the school.  Admission to Louisville is based on the results of an entrance examination, grade point average from seventh and eighth grades, teacher recommendations, and an ability to benefit from the total education program offered at Louisville.  Priority is given to students from Catholic families attending Catholic elementary schools.  Those who do not attend such schools will be required to produce proof of participation in a religious education program.  Final decisions on acceptance into the ninth grade rest with the Admissions Committee of Louisville High School. Louisville recognizes that transfer students from public and private schools will adhere to the open enrollment policies and procedures of the state CIF RULE 214.
